Karina Beleno Carney, Lic.Ac., FABORM has a general practice, focused on the mind/body/spirit connection, utilizing a variety of techniques to treat acute and chronic pain, stress, depression, and anxiety, and sleep and digestive disorders. Additionally, Karina is a board certified reproductive acupuncturist, with a clinical focus in maternal health, including menstrual health, infertility, pregnancy, and post-partum. Karina has valuable professional experience working closely with individuals and couples to navigate the tricky time of creating a family. Karina also has worked as a birth doula. 

Karina has been practicing Traditional Chinese Medicine for over 20 years. A graduate of the Groton School, Wellesley College, and The Academy of Oriental Medicine at Austin (AOMA), Karina also studied at the Teaching Hospital of the Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Chengdu, SiChuan, China. In more recent years, Karina's studies have expanded to shamanic practice and energy healing.

Karina is committed to providing culturally competent care, supports single mothers by choice and the LGBTQ+ community. Karina habla español.

  • Wellesley College, BA in Medicine and Anthropology, premedical studies - 2000

Credentials:

  • Licensed by the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Medicine
  • Diplomate in Oriental Medicine (Acupuncture, Chinese Herbology, and Biomedicine) of the National Certification Commission of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM)
  • Fellow of the Acupuncture and TCM Board of Reproductive Medicine (ABORM).
